Well, Tina, I like your work and opinions...I.will take your word for it!
I don't see how this takes up less room, but I can see how it makes for 
"neater" packing....I just shove a roll or two of film under/over the lens in 
a domke pocket..makes the camera+film "rectangular"!!! so it uses up the 
space.
