Anybody know/remember what an average staffer/adjunct at a university made in 
1954?.....or what did the average family sedan cost? (I know they didn't have 
A/C or stereo, but we can subtract $1K from a new mid priced sedan and calculate!)
Also, what was the "street" price of an M3/50 summicron?--I seem to recall folks 
talking about $300> or so...
