As a PR guy - sorry - I have to disagree. It would be one thing if they
were re-issuing a camera from the 50s or 60s as a users camera at a
users price. They would then get a lot of ink, and attention, for their
effort to revive the rangefinder, a camera type now reduced to a rich
guy's toy and a bit of esoterica used by a handful of pros - I'm not
saying I believe it, I'm just suggesting how it might be pitched.

But to produce a $6K version of a camera that sold for, what, $390 or so
when last produced? Not much good PR there...
