Subject: [Leica] Shallow rear M lens cap?

I've got several black plastic rear lens caps, Leica part #14269. This cap
is 18mm deep. I believe I've seen, on pictures of some older telephotos, a
shallower rear lens cap. This would be useful. I've got a classic 90mm
Elmarit which, with the 14269 mounted and the hood mounted in reverse, is
just a little taller than convenient for my camera bag. With no protruding
rear element, the extra space of the 14269 is not needed.

Does anybody have a sample of this shorter rear cap? I'd like to know how
deep it is (outside measurement), and how much it might cost to get
one. Used is fine.
