Both B&H and Cameraworld are selling them for $750.  $550 after rebate.
Since less than a year ago, they were going for $1500, I consider that to be
pretty cheap.

My plan?  I'm going to cross my fingers and knock on wood.  :)  Seriously.
If it works for the first month, odds are pretty good it'll work for a
while.  If it only lasts a year, I'll have still gotten $550 worth out of
it.

It was that, or the older Canon or Nikon models.  To use the latest Nikon
ones, I'd have to get a new computer.  Which makes it too much of a hassle
right now.  I don't have room where I want to set up another computer
system.
