clearly a challenging circumstance, and a beautiful image.
i strikes me that a little cropping might be nice, but
there's so much nice stuff going on it's a shame to lose any of it.
for example, you might try to lose the right (land) side, but
the foggy trees in the background are very nice.  similarly,
you might lose some of the water, but the reflections of the
fireworks are so pretty.

so i guess it's beautiful the way it is!

an alternate closing in on the silhouetted figures
on the dock would also be a powerful image.
