I've been trying to print these negs past their physical limitations for
nearly twenty years. When it comes to printing my B/W negs I'm not a
slouch, as anybody here in Los Angeles knows. Like most things in life
there are no shortcuts. This one short cut is one I wish I hadn't taken,
as that particular moment will probably never replicate itself in my
lifetime for me to reshoot.
The only option I can see for the moment is scanning the negs and
printing them out on an inkjet, dreadful as that sounds.
