Just curious as "best known Leica specialist" is a tad vague.
I first though repair person, then dealer, then shooter. My imagination
running wild.
But then i think: Why so vague?

Conjecture as to new M's around the corner have made for very raucous
"debates" on the lug.

I'm sure if there were hard evidence with dates we'd all know about it.
I question the bantering about of rumors on this edgy topic.
I say lets wait until we see it on the Leica site. Then we'll know for
sure it's really happening and what for sure it really is.

It's my guess that Leica could care less about competing with the Hexar
RF or Cosina for that matter.
I think they'll leave the lightweights to the lightweights and continues
producing a quality product.
And certainly not compete against themselves.

"Hey Photobugs!!!! Why spend all that money on our premium camera we've
refined for almost a century whey you can buy this cheap one which fits
our lenes and which we're having made in Taiwan which has an A setting
and syncs at 125th!?"
Love Leica
Nope i dont think so.

They could work an A setting into an M6e or M6a or a built in motor but
we'll never know what its going to be until we see it.

Sitting around wondering how Leica is going to debase themselves i find
not appealing.
