Subject: [Leica] Quality P&S single focal length cameras - a vanishing breed....

Someone was looking (in vain) for a Konica Hexar Silver at one of the
reputable camera places (B&H, Adorama, etc.). I decided to help him in his
search only to find no sign of this camera. Worse yet, nobody seems to be
stocking the Nikon 35ti, and the Ricoh GR1s is no longer distributed in the
US. With the earlier discontinuation of the Nikon 28ti and the Yashica T4
Super, the field of P&S cameras coveted by photographers as pocket cameras
seems to be shrinking. It appears that the only players in the high-end
(over $400) P&S non-zoom cameras are the Leica Minilux and the Contax T3.
