Hi all

I have the skinny tele elemarit and the pre aspheric 90 f/2 both used. I
heard a number of horry storries about the elmarit, but I make up my own
mind by taking pictures with the lenses. I am going to keep the elmarit and
sell the summicron. From all that I have read the summicron is a "better"
lens than the older tele elmarit, but in my experience using the lenses buy
taking the same image (Camera on tripod) in sequence throughout aperture, I
just liked the look that the tele elmarit rendered. In actual use, I found
the TE much easier to hold than the Summicron and it travels much better. I
tried a friends and 75mm Summilux and that was a very expensive mistake....I
bought one within a week of trying it. That lens is a gem, but the
viewfinder on the .72 can be a challenge. Under any circumstances, I would
not use a 90 on the .58 body without buying the eypiece magnifier. I have
had trouble focusing on a .72 body.

Hope this helps.
