If we're talking about portraits of fast moving children, nothing beats one
of the R Zooms in P mode.  I know the thread is mainly M, but when the grand
children are over and running about, the 80-200 with the R8 and motor drive
is hard to beat.  Wish I could scan some of the images in for the group to
see. Great color, sharp...heck, I know it isn't the 90AA or one of the new
and expensive APO zooms, but the lens works wonderfully well in such an
application.  Didn't Erwin say that the 80-200 approaches the performance of
many of the single focal length lenses?
