Pascal:

I obtained the 180 f/2.8 APO by trading in my old 180 f/3.4 APO TELYT to
offset the high price of the f/2.8. I never liked the operating feel of the
3.4 on my R8 and the 2.8 has an amazingly smooth focusing ring...it is as
smooth as silk and is one of the most amazing rings on the market.
