Hi Peter,

XP2 grain should be similar to a regular 100 ISO B&W (non C41) film such as 
tmax 100 or Dela 100. XP2 is much less grainy than HP5 or TRI-X.
Should be comparable to Portra 400B&W.

There was probably a problem in the processing.
