The reason there are so few people is the time of year - go in summer and
you'll get the crowds (or the first Sunday in the month when admission to
the art galleries and museums is free).

Great shots, Steve.  I especially like the one of the tourists in front of
the Mona Lisa...I attempted one from the other side of the case housing the
painting about two years ago using EK400 with about three times as many
tourists...not sure if it's as good as yours but if I ever get a scanner,
I'll send you a copy.  I could spend all day in the Louvre watching people
and admiring the magnificient holdings...
