Well said, Mark.  I'd only add this: half-frame (or single frame if you 
prefer) is its own format and you can do cool stuff with it.  Half frame 
(and 35mm of course) images can be of stunning quality - I have made 11 
X 14 and 16 X 20 prints from my half frame slides and negs and the 
quality is great.  Moreover, the *image* really matters more than the 
image *quality* - otherwise we'd be using medium and large format equipment.


The LUG just kills me - I posted a query to see if anybody might be 
interested in a half frame that can take Leica M or SM lenses, and we 
end up debating the validity of the half frame format.  Some individuals 
even go so far as to belittle he format. I say only this:  just because 
you don't like it does not mean it has no value. ROFLOL with that concept ;)
