In 120, most had TLR's and you can visibly see them sweat the frame with their fixed lens cameras. It becomes very clear that if one doesn't have lenses to change or to zoom, you have to really, and I mean really, have to work your composition. It's quite impressive to see it. Every now and then, actually most of the time, I'll purposely limit myself equipment wise. Even on commercial work, as I know before hand what the subject matter is, it's not hard to winnow down the gear. The best times are when I take only one TLR, a #1 rolleinar, one lens hood, one cable release, and a tripod fitted with a rolleifix. It has a creative free fall feeling. Within that seeming limitation, I have unlimited freedom. Enjoy your M3.
