Even better is a Metz 35 Z-2. I can flip the flash emitter up and bounce
the light off the ceiling. Of course, with color negative, I have to stick
to ceilings which are not so far off from white that I can't correct in the
printing.

When you've got 100asa film in the camera and you're getting a
1/4sec f:1 or 1/2sec f1.4 reading - pop the SF20 on with or
without gaffer taped diffuser/reflector and shoot. Negatives are
lovely, rich in background tones, subject frozen by flash
duration, and still displaying available light effects.

Much better than 1/2sec handheld without flash.
Much better than no shot at all.
