Hi Mark,

Two things you shouldn't try:

1). When asked to identify yourself don't look in the rearview mirror 
and say: "Ya that's me all right!"

2). When asked if your transporting any fruit or vegetables don't 
smartly reply "Just the marijuana plant in the trunk!"

Years ago I was traveling with a buddy and he put on the above 
performance at the border. As a result, our two day trip became a two 
and a half day trip as we were held for "special attention". Somehow I 
don't life has improved for the border people since then.
