Adam, I appreciate and value such records of the family.   So the following
isn't a complaint just an assignment for the next round.  Look at the
shadows under your sons eyes, is there an angle where the available light
filled in those shadows.  Perhaps a wall or something to reflect some light
into the shadows;  possibly by changing your position.  It isn't always
possible, but frequently there is some combination of position and angle
that provides natural fill.  Good luck and I look forward to many more
images of your son as he comes home on leave.
