I have a Leica 350/4.8 which I frequently use with a 2x APO extender. This
produces a 700mm f/9.6 lens. this is a dynamite combination since the 2x
APO extender perfectly matches the characteristics of the 350 lens. It
produces exquisitely sharp images.

My impressions of scope use as camera lenses is limited and not what I
would call fulfilling. The resolution was awful. This was not a Leica scope
however.
