Hi,

  I understand the older 90/2.8 with series 7 filter size has different optical formular than the newer 90/2.8 with E55 filter size.  I presume that you meant that the newer version was the same as the M version optically.  Am I right?

I used the 90/2.8R before and felt very satisfied. I switched to the
100/2.8APO just for a ROM lens. My worry is that the 80/1.4R might be too
soft for me, as I saw picture from the 90/2.0 and didn't like its softness
and tone too much.
