Classic marketing theory says that when any product reaches 15 to 18%
saturation, it becomes a "must have" and the market will boom until
saturation hits 80 to 85%.   Thereafter the market for a given item becomes
essentially a replacement market.

So, by your numbers we should see the M7 turn into a "must have" item for
all photographers in (18x14=) 112 days - say mid-August, to be safe.

Won't the marketing boys in Solms be pleased with this news! ;-)
