At the end of last summer's notorious first ever Hartford area LUG gathering, 
I tested Mike Gardner's 2x APO against my own non-APO on a 100/2.8 APO Macro. 
 After the slides came back, I didn't see any difference significant enough 
to make me want to spend the extra bucks.
