Where would you go for a free 3 day 2 night trip?
It can happen to you. Its happened to me. I'm still grinning from ear to
ear and its partly due to the LUG. One full year ago I took a few days
vacation and spent spring break with my teenage son. We went to Lone Pine
California, home of the Alabama Hills to do scenic photography. The
Alabama hills were the back drops for lots of movies and TV shows, The Lone
Ranger being my favorite. A reminder of the trip is still on the net at
http://home.earthlink.net/~johnbohner/analog/paw/12.htm Ryan and I shot a
dozen rolls there and in Death Valley and along the side of the Sierra. We
spent 3 nites in a motel and on the way out I grabbed a contest form that
was on top of the TV. For the heck of it, I entered their contest via the
WWW. Fast forward 1 year. Today I was called and told that I am the
grandprize winner in the motel chain's contest. Thanks to photography we
can fly anywhere and back within the US or Canada minus Hawaii or Alaska.
We get 2 nites in the chain's hotel/motel of our choice. A rental car for 3
days and some spending money! . We can blend it into our regular vacation
if we want. Soooooo. Now all I have to do is figure out where to go! I'm
leaning towards Calgary and the nearby Canadian Rockies like Banff Nat.
Park. Have any Luggers shot much there? This is Cool, and its all because
of the LUG. Invest time with your kids, it can pay off!

Cheers
