Gentle point of order...

New York and New England are two ENTIRELY different places and different 
cultures.

New England itself is culturally split between the more crowded Southern 
New England (Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island) and very rural 
wilds of Northern New England (Vermont, New Hampshire and my home state of 
Maine.)

Not to be an argumentative New Englander...just tired of being considered a 
Liberal Urbanite because I live in the North East. :)
