The RRS B30 model is designed specifically for the Leica M models. It works
great, but you should -- according to RRS -- be careful not to overtorque
the mounting screw so as to avoid damaging the bottom plate. Tightening
until first resistance works fine.

What I'd like to know is whether there is a mounting plate that will work
on a Rapidwinder base plate.
