Yes, this is one of the attractions of rollercoasters for me. I have done this
before. Mind you, this is a relatively mild one, so it was not too difficult
to twist myself around so I could see the children. Using a fast shutter speed
(1/500 as far as I remember) I set the 24mm to the closest distance--I was
really that close to the children--and fired off 10-12 shots during the ride.
