Mark,

what you have there IS a Kobalux. The 21mm is sold under different names: 
Pasoptik, Avenar, Avenon, Kobalux.
Recently, I acquired one for my M3. I do not use it often, but it seems to 
be ok. The viewfinder gives a nice image, but the fit to the accessory shoe 
is a bid loose.
