Lens, portability, and auto-exposure are outstanding. General controls and
auto-focus are very good, though the AF is sometimes fooled (the focus
indicator lets you monitor this) and introduces noticable lag. There are 2
manual distance settings (infinity and 2m) that reduce lag and stay set
even after turning the camera off. There is apparently a new version of the
camera that has more such settings.

Keep in mind that this camera has a 28mm lens. I have found it very useful,
but surprising how magnified a 50 or even 35 seems after using the GR1
alone.
