I have a III so all should be well in the wonderful world of macro and 39mm thread enlarging lenses. You say you want a 200mm macro but don't want to spend $1000 for the Japanese flavor? This was an answer to all who don't understand why the viso holds such appeal to so many. I would also admit that the EOS system is highly adaptable to much of the same if you can acquire some now fairly rare FD adapters.
