Hi everyone and Chris,

I open the SC17 cord up just right after I read your message last night
about 1:30 A.M. there is no way to reverse the position of the cord so it
won't stick to the front.

1) first I intended to bring the wire to the opposite side but there is a
problem. the problem is that if i bring the wire to the backside, i have to
cut a hole so the wire can comeout of the the connector. if i cut a hole, i
will also cut away the tab that hold two parts of connector together. so
..NO GO.

2) second, I then try to see that I can reverse the pins so it can be
opposite with the cord while it in camera position. this is also no go.
since all the pins have hole to hold and even if i drill new hole to the
connector, it won't work due to the fact that there are many hole already
pre-grill in there that won't give much tolerance between each hole.

bottom line, no way to reverse the SC17 cord with a proper secure way.

I am thinking of drill a hole on top of the connector so the cord instead of
come out in front it is now come out on top. I am not sure about this way
yet. would it worth to do this and would the cord still interfere with the
camera front any more after modification? I will check again and see it
worth a try.
