Greg;
Another Dr. Yao happy customer!
I got my stuffed pig from him also.
In my case I went with the winder. For me, It's a much better balance
between the two components. It's slow on single exposures, and picks up
the pace on 2 frames a sec. From what I could surmise by spending a
couple of days with the camera and winder, is that the slow speed keeps
vibration to a minimum.
Between my Rollei and Canon, I've never used the high speed drive
functions. Doing mostly portraits, I tend to be slow and deliberate
using the wind as an assist so as not to be distracted from the subject.
Yesterday, I spent 20 minutes on 24 exposures on 120, and that was
forcing myself to slowdown. All of it on single frame advance. Next time
I'll try the leica on a similar shoot.
