Subject: [Leica] Plastic mounting things for pictures

I was recently to a photoexhibition in Malmö/Sweden. The pictures was
mounted on thick plastic material. 

The pictures got a 3D feeling, and it had a certain "glow" which was
beautiful. (Sorry for my bad English) 

Does somebody know what i am talking about ? What is the material
called. Who is doing that ? At what cost ?
