To me it's in a way very Leicalike to use all kinds of glass on your Leica.
In the days of yore (Leica screw mount) it was common to have Cannon or
Nikon glass on your Leica.
I imagine it was common to have Leica glass on Cannon and Nikons.

So I'd hope the rule was that you could use third party glass on your M6.

But there are pitfalls here on my logic.
First of all i usually value glass first.
So what about using Leica glass on a Bessa or that other one?
That just sounds even more appealing to me for a think like this and i
can't place why.

I LIKE the idea of a FOM being a Leica thing. Sure it wasn't the first
time but here it is now.

The simple thing would be to just say everything has to be all Leica.
I for one would have not problem with that because the only think I've
got in my Leica kit which is not Leica is the Rodenstock macro lens for
my Viso II!
