I'm mostly being petulant and liberal in this thread. I have five Leica
lenses and two Leica bodies that could be used for FOM2 things, so I'm not
at a loss for Leica equipment. One is a Tri-Elmar, and if I cannot take at
least one FOM2 image with that, I'm pretty pathetic. I don't think Leica
folks bristle at Nikon or Canon LTM lenses, but Konica is another story. If
I went through all of the permutations of Leica lens + non-Leica body and
non-Leica lens + Leica body, I'd have more "legal" FOM2 combinations than I
could possibly use.

Part of this attitude on my part is that I feel better about taking a great
shot with a Jupiter than with a Summicron. But put a watercolor brush in my
hand and I won't touch anything other than the finest, most colorfast
Winsor and Newton pigments. Go figure. I guess I can relate to y'all
Leicaphiles on some level.
