Subject: [Leica] FS? Thing-a-ma-jigg ("Glasses" for a 50mm Summicron)

I went through some old stuff and found what appears to be "glasses" for one
of Leicas lenses. I have a faint memory that years ago I owned a Summicron
(chrome, probably from the fifties) with a slot on the top so you could
slide on these glasses (like the 135mm or the 35mm Summilux for the M3).

The glasses enlarge things. I can't for my life remember exactly what they
were for, no longer have the lens and don't need them.

Maybe someone out there could use this. If so, drop me a line.
