Lea,
I share in your joy; I hope to get caught up in the next few
days myself. I have also been shooting plenty of film, and not
finding time to scan.
Week 26 is my favorite. Yeah, it's gratuitously cute, but
you can't help that. That's just the effect puppies have on us
humans. I love the way that the puppy obscures her mouth, and we
pretty much just get the eyes of both Lauren and Mountie.
Glad to see Lauren is reading Lord of the Rings. One of my
personal favorites. If she likes it, she may want to try reading
the Wizard of Earthsea books, by Ursula LeGuin. I'm not a big
fantasy book reader, but I thought that both series explored so
well the temptations of power, and their effect on the human
heart.
My wife says that week 29 is absolutely fantabulous, and
further adds that she can't imagine why people shave toy poodles
if they look that cute unshaved. I hope that this post doesn't
start a vicious toy poodle shaving thread.
Regards,
Michael Gerard
