Dan, The Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2002 awards are for "reportage
photography," which doesn't quite translate into photojournalism.

Having spent a career in TV Photojournalism shooting fires, civil rights
marches, press conferences and Black Panther stand-offs, what I now do I
call Documentary Photography, though "Reportage" might be a closer
definition.

In sum, I think Brian just missed it when he said "You people will argue
over anything." He should have said, "you people will argue with B.D. over
anything."
