Hi Phong,

Yes, completely true. Some examples:

Shouldice Hospital in Ontario is renowned world wide for their surgery 
expertise and full of American's.

Most Canadian hospitals tend to be more concerned with treating you 
first, then verifying insurance (this is changing as health care budgets 
are cut).

Prescriptions are available for some drugs in generic form and are sold 
for a lot less and some drugs are available over- the- counter here that 
either require a subscription or are unattainable in the US (e.g. 
gravol, 222's).
