Anyone interested in documentary filmmaking should check out the movie Dogtown and Z-Boys. It chronicles the birth of the hardcore skateboarding scene in Santa Monica, CA in the 70s. Mixed with vintage stills and film footage are recent interviews with the participants. I'm not into skateboarding but it totally sucked me in. Which is what any good documentary should do. Highly recommended. It's now out on DVD so get down to the local Blockbuster and check it out. Then you'll want a 12mm CV lens for that M6.
