He must have known that he would be under Leica's rubric when he gave huge 
praise to the 50/3.5 Heliar (another lens that I bought based on his 
praise, and I wasn't disappointed). I think that, no matter who he's 
working for, he's an honest guy. Since the time of that Heliar review, he 
received a 50/2.5 from Cosina that was so bad, he returned it thinking it 
must be defective. He seems incredibly above board to me. If Leica wanted a 
"yes man", they could have hired the likes of me to applaud their products 
at a much cheaper price.
