Don,
    The light is, as you note, marvelous, and the result is a nice, natural
portrait with interesting shadows adding depth to your daughter's face.
    I love window light as well.  One of my friends strongly resisted letting
me take a shot of her and her daughter in front of their bedroom window, a nice
northern window...and then she saw the print.
