I've had a week to decompress. I didn't thank the presenters. Some of
them are even Lugnuts (they're on the LUG). 4 out of 10. Above the list
of presenters we saw last long weekend.

Mark Davison is on the LUG in spurts.
Bill Grimwood lurks I discovered last week.
I'm here now which tends to be the case.
And Ted Grant is the LUG.

Mark Davison did a digital thing which was one of the hits. It was the
first presentation we had. His program had lots of heart and covered a
variety of topics involving printing, photoshoping and scanning and took
all questions which he was peppered by with grace.

Bill Grimwood shows the slides which all the members send in (to him)
from all over the world. Most of them are not even at attendance at the
meeting. It makes for one of the visually stimulating highlights of
every meeting which i look forward to.

Most of the work behind my "workshop" was done by Tom Christianson who
brought the slides in, picked them up, and put them in the trays;
organizing them… I thank Sal DiMarco and Ted as well has Mark Theken for
not pulling any punches as we saw them on the screen ("I would have
zoomed in on that LEAF!") and generously given to us by Agfa Germany.
The light was so bad it was not a good test for the film.
Sal does not need a last name either.

Ted was the last presentation at the banquet and so was the "banquet
speaker." He was sponsored by Leica NJ which is in effect Leica USA. We
saw his excellent images dissolving on the screen with the two Leica
Projectors projecting these images with Leica glass. These projectors
were run by Brad Weeks the Leica Rep. and Christian Erhardt the
Marketing Director from New Jersey. (Hasselblad USA is also located in
New jersey which has gotten me used to New Jersey as the second center
of the world next to NYC.)
Teds show was another top big hit of the weekend.

I hope if any Lugging LHSA'ers have had any Leica revelations or
criticisms as a result of the wonderful time we all had last weekend
he/she would share it with us here on the LUG.
