Subject: [Leica] Klingons invade Swindon Shopping Centre!

Last weekend, a celeb from one of the Star Trek spin-offs opened a film
memorabilia store in Swindon. I spotted two characters dressed as Klingons
hanging around outside (well you couldn't miss them really!). They agreed
to have their photo taken - the result can be seen at
http://www.leica-gallery.net/mark-pope/image-34799.html .

This shot convince me just how good the 50mm Summicron (latest) is. This
shot has been cropped and I made a version of this print on 9.5" x 12"
paper, which would full-frame would be bigger than 12"x16" and boy does it
have some detail in it! Shooting at 1/1000 at f4 helped too - so no camera
shake and the lens at or near its best aperture.

Comments or criticism on or off-list will be appreciated.
