Subject: [Leica] got a Komura teleconverter for Leica M

Hi,

I just received a Komura teleconverter for leica M (accepts only leica M
lenses but screws to body, thus requiring an adapter).
It seems to be well built, as well as the finder (impressive in size)
The finder is not really clear/bright) but seems to be usable.
I tried to mount a few lenses and the RF is coupled correclty although I
have not checked yet the accuracy.

I looked in the LUG archive and noticed that the user report/experience are
going from not usable to good... I will let you know my opinion after a few
tests.

I wonder what will be the quality of the 180/5.6 (90/2.8+2X) and the
Noctilux + 2X. To have a 100/2 seems attracive... But I do not believe too
much in the focussing accuracy (perfect coupling accuracy) of the
conerter... on the other hand the Noctilux vignetting would be removed by
enlarging only the center of the image...the noctilux bokeh kept...

I plan to use it when travelling to have a longer lens than my 90, for a few
shoots, too avoid to carry my heavy C**** SLR system too.

Any comments for long time users?

cheers, logan
