Ernie - sorry to read you got shut out by the clouds, but that IS Syracuse
sir.  I love my family and friends from there but the habitual cloudyness
during the winter drove me away.  I think my love of film noir and cemetary
photography came from that experiance.  In any case, here in Los Angeles at
the beach, I did not fair much better.  Heavy moonlight shut down even my
visual sightings.  It was nothing like last year's event.  You should get
ready for the Perseids in August.  Skies might be clear, you don't freeze
and the meteors move much slower. Come to think of it, this sort of thing
is perfect for the Nocti crowd. Its about as available dark as you can get.
Will we see a Nocti meteor shot posted?
