How about the fact that the TTL has an OFF position on the shutter speed
dial....and has TTL engraved on the hotshoe

The easiest way to tell a "Classic" from a TTL M6 is to look at the hot
shoe. If it has one contact it's the Classic, if three it's a TTL. Also,
the shutter speed dial on the Classic will turn from B to 1000
clockwise, CCW on the TTL.
