Hi Frederic,

I had a IIIf once and used an Elmar on it (I have no idea if it was red 
scale, but it was coated) with good results. When choosing these old 
lenses, I would stay away from the high aperture lenses like the early 
collapsible Summicrons, unless you intend to always shoot with the sun 
behind you (spoken from experience).
