Yes, it is all very honorable, and there is nothing wrong with being
honorable! Thank you!

If you do have the low-down on a dealership, and find it doesn't measure up,
then fine. It sounds as if folks have had problems in the past, and that
they're documented online. Bad customer service speaks for itself.

I guess my point questions the assumption that because a dealer advertises
as an authorized Leica dealership but doesn't carry the full Leica line that
the dealership is somehow behaving unethically or incorrectly. I certainly
hope that it is more than obvious that this isn't so.

I also like to think that Leica users possess an above-average degree of the
logic gene, and would be able to avoid throwing babies out with bath water!

While this is all very good and honourable, I think we've established
through independent means (first hand reports from others) that Focus
Camera leaves something to be desired with regard to customer service
and the veracity of their statements regarding what they do and do not
have in stock.

However, for the potential customer, there is a very useful resource
over at photo.net called neighbour-to-neighbour.  It's a repository of
comments from past customers to lots of different sellers.
