I've had a Tri-Elmar, Summicron and a Noctilux that came with Passport
warranty - this is in Europe, don't know the US situation.

Bingo.  You are right, Steve.  Passport/USA is ONLY available for
bodies, as far as camera gear goes I believe.  I have NEVER seen
anything but the International Warranty cards with lenses, motor drive,
flash.  If anyone has seen differently, that Passport is available for
other than bodies, I'd be interested to know.

BTW, did you get your warranty card stamped and signed ;-)
